Pioneer Man
“Pioneer Man” is an 18x24 cyanotype made from two photographs. The first being the background of the Grand Tetons and the second of the Pioneer Man which is a Mufflerman, a large fiber glass statue. By layering these together I gave the illusion that he is mining for gold in the Tetons. Canson 140lb watercolor paper is hand brushed and developed then washed, pressed flat to dry then accented with gold leafing. Sold un-framed
