Baseball Mitts
Baseball Mitts is an 18x12 photograph developed in the Cyanotype process from 1842. This old world process is done by coating watercolor paper with iron salts to make it light sensitive thereby allowing me to develop a negative with the use of the sun into a positive image. Once I wash the paper it turns a wonderful Cyan Blue, thus its name. Photo taken at antique fair in the San Francisco Bay Area.
